The mission of the Dinwiddie County Historical Society is the preservation of county history, education, and genealogy. We meet quarterly on the second Sunday of March, June, September and December at 3 pm. We offer the Dinwiddie County heritage books for sale, as well as many other items. The Historical Society also has resources for its members such as computers with internet access, research materials, as well as access to a genealogist. We were formed to prevent the loss of precious history and artifacts that are within the county; visit us and be a part of a rapidly growing organization.
